Abstract

Introduction: To strengthen care throughout the pregnancy-postpartum cycle and contribute to reducing maternal mortality, investment in Continuing Health Education (PHE) is necessary. This study aimed to identify the concepts developed around educational technologies in the prenatal setting, as well as describe the technologies used to support care in this context. Methodology: This is an Integrative Literature Review (ILR), with a qualitative and descriptive approach, conducted in August 2025 in the BVS, PubMed, and Scopus databases. Results and Discussion: Four articles were analyzed, revealing diverse experiences in the development and use of educational technologies aimed at training health professionals in prenatal care. The included studies highlighted both digital technologies and printed materials, demonstrating their adaptation to different care realities. Furthermore, the promotion of interprofessional practice was observed as one of the positive outcomes of using these technologies. Conclusion: Educational technologies are strategic tools for improving prenatal care, as they help overcome fragmented practices, strengthen interprofessionalism, and promote more humane and safe care. They are essential in combating maternal mortality and promoting women's health throughout the pregnancy-postpartum cycle.
