Violencia sexual contra las mujeres: datos epidemiológicos, subregistro y el papel de la enfermería

Caracterizar casos de subregistro en relación a mujeres que han sufrido violencia sexual y discutir cómo la enfermería puede ayudar en estos casos con base en la evidencia de la literatura científica. Constituye una revisión integradora de la literatura, buscando artículos publicados del 2002 al 2024, en las siguientes bases de datos: Scielo y Google Scholar. Se utilizaron los siguientes descriptores: violencia contra la mujer; derechos de las mujeres; servicios de salud de la mujer y subregistro. La revisión integrativa de la literatura tiene como objetivo definir conceptos, examinar teorías e investigar cuestiones relacionadas con un tema específico. El trabajo de enfermería en la atención a mujeres víctimas de violencia sexual aún enfrenta desafíos y requiere ajustes, tanto por parte de los profesionales como de las instituciones que brindan este tipo de servicio. Además, es fundamental avanzar en la acogida de estas mujeres, ya que los estudios destacan varios factores que les dificultan el acceso a los servicios de salud.
