The challenges of applicability of the birth plan in nursing care

The birth plan is a legal document, which has been increasingly implemented in care, with the purpose of providing pregnant women with autonomy, creating a bond between them and the maternity hospital of choice, as well as avoiding interventionist practices, however many nurses have difficulty implementing it. The work aims to highlight the importance of applying the birth plan as a humanization tool in the birth process, in addition to observing Nursing's understanding of the importance of the birth plan and identifying what the challenges are in implementing the birth plan in nursing care. Nursing and analyze how the birth plan is addressed within Nursing consultations.
